Caythorpe 2021

Day 1

We arrived safely at Caythorpe in good time and have have had a fantastic first few hours. As well as a tour of the site, and time to get our rooms organised, we have already been learning lots of PGL songs and had a really filling tea. Lots of excitement - can't wait for tomorrow!

After a good first night, the ESJ Year Sixes have been enjoying an action packed day of Trapeze, Buggy Building, Jacob's Ladder and 'Survivor'. The cloud has given way to afternoon sunshine and spirits are high!
Quote of the day - "This is the best trip you could ever invent. Can we stay for longer?!"
Here are a few photos - just a taster. There will be many more to follow!

Another great day here in the sunshine!

Caythorpe: Wednesday

Today has seen all of our groups take to the water in the open canoes. With lovely warm sunshine, everyone has had a great time and shown fantastic teamwork, skills and bravery. With only a bit of lake swimming skills involved!

Lots more to look forward to tomorrow too. We will all sleep well again tonight!

Caythorpe - Thursday

After our earliest start of the week so far (breakfast at 7:25am), we have all been busy enjoying another action-packed day.

Highlights already include, epic climbs to the top of the climbing wall, great teamwork in the Problem Solving puzzle park and skill and bravery on the mighty trapeze.

Everyone is in good spirits and helping others along when a tricky moment arrives. Great to see the EJ Way in action all the time. Well done all!

Lots of excitement about Camp Fire tonight - a great way to spend our final evening away.
There are more photos - as we process them, more will appear here.
