Harvest Challenge 2020

"Ely St John's School celebrated Harvest with financial gifts and raised £70.00. Thank you so much as this equals 2 family food parcels or 2 assists with fuel poverty." Ely Foodbank, Facebook
Harvest Challenge 2020
Hello! Thank you so much for looking at this year's Harvest Challenge at ESJ. Once you've watched the video of the story 'The boy, the mole, the fox and the horse' have a go at recreating one of the illustrations in your own words. You could create your art work using pencil, crayon, paint or any other medium you can think of.
For example "What do you want to be when you grow up? "Kind" said the boy". You could have a go at thinking about what else the boy might say.
"What do you think success is?" asked the boy "To love" said the mole." What else could the mole have said?
Use the examples of some illustrations below to give you some inspiration or there are lots of other examples from the book on Google - ask a grown up to help you do some research!
Once you have finished your art work, send a photo to the school office or maybe you'd like to bring it into school to share with your class. Any pieces sent in will be shared on the school's website.
Thank you for having a go!

Here is some of the brilliant work that our children have been doing at school in response to the question 'What does Harvest mean to me?'. Such lovely thoughts and work, well done!
