Summer of Sport!

19th April 2017
Welcome back after Easter! The sun is shining (sometimes), the eggs have been gobbled down, and we're entering into a busy time for our school games activity.

Obviously, we'll be looking forward to our school sports day, as well as lots of rounders and cricket matches within and between classes. We're also hoping to get our playground leaders to form a school sports crew - getting other children to take part in skipping and speedstacking challenges. During the term, some of the Y4 children will be working with a dance coach. Mr Lowery is hoping to re-start his circus skills club as well.

Outside of school, the Y5/6 football season starts this week with a match away at Little Thetford, and we've got loads of other opportunities for inter-school competition. We'll be hoping to take a team to a cricket tournament, we have a Quicksticks hockey tournament in May, and  we'll also be taking children to the Quadkids athletics festival and the tennis festival at Witchford.

So watch this space for reports, fixtures and news!
