Ely St John’s Primary School needs a Level 2 Teaching Assistant

 

We have a temporary position for a Level 2 Teaching Assistant to work from January 2022 until August 31st 2022.

 

The successful applicant will be working 1:1 with a child in KS2 for 15 hours a week, 12.10pm to 3.10pm.

 

Ely St John’s is a two-form entry primary school in Ely that was judged as Good by Ofsted in November 2018.  We are a large primary with 375 on roll, serving a large housing estate just on the lower edge of Ely.

The applicant needs to have:

  • experience of working with children in primary school;
  • experience of one to one support and/or leading interventions;
  • the capability to engage in all aspects of the curriculum including physical activity and outdoor activity;
  • preparedness to support at lunchtimes and in lesson times, within the hours given;
  • a belief in our therapeutic models for behaviour and an ability to nurture.
