Ely St John’s Primary School: Level 2 Teaching Assistant Position
We have a temporary position for a Level 2 Teaching Assistant to work from 31st October 2022 until the end of the Summer Term 2023.
The successful applicant will be working across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 - 25 hours per week.
Ely St John’s is a two-form entry primary school in Ely that was judged as Good by Ofsted in November 2018.
We are a large primary with 372 on roll, serving a large housing estate just on the edge of Ely.

The applicant needs to have:
- experience of working/volunteering with children in primary school;
- experience of one to one support and/or leading interventions;
- the capability to engage in all aspects of the curriculum including physical activity and outdoor activity;
- preparedness to support at lunchtimes and in lesson times, within the hours given;
- a belief in our therapeutic models for behaviour and an ability to nurture.
