School Meals

At lunch time each day, children can have a hot lunch or bring a packed lunch from home.

The school offers a choice of good quality hot lunches each day, with two main meal options available, one of which is a vegetarian option. If you would like your child to have a hot lunch this needs to be agreed with the school and cannot be organised weekly.  Meals are prepared and served by the Lunchtime Company.  Please find more information on The Lunchtime Company and current menus under PARENTS - LUNCH MENUS.

Hot lunches are currently free for Infants and  £2.40 a day for Juniors.

School lunches can be paid for weekly or termly in advance. All money should be sent in an envelope with your child's name on it. If you wish to pay by cheque, write your child's name and class on the back. Cheques should be made payable to Ely St John's School. Please send dinner money via your children.
