Personal Challenge in PE

7th December 2018
In PE, just as in all subjects, personal challenge is a major part of what we try to achieve at ESJ. This is all about trying to do your best and to always striving to improve. For instance, Year 5 recently took part in a skipping challenge. They skipped for thirty seconds and counted how many times they could jump over the rope. Then they took tips from Mr Lowery and each other, and practised their techniques. During the lesson, they took on the skipping challenge a further two times. By the end of the session, every single child had improved their score. Proof that, while practice might not make perfect, it certainly does lead to greater success.
